Why it’s never too late for your baby’s photoshoot.

When it comes to capturing those special moments of your newborn, many parents often feel like they missed the boat if they didn't schedule a photoshoot within the first few weeks of their baby's life. While it's true that there are benefits to having a photoshoot during the 10-21 day mark, it's never too late to capture those precious memories.

Life with a newborn can be overwhelming, and it's understandable if scheduling a photoshoot wasn't at the top of your priority list. But just because your baby is a few months old doesn't mean you can't capture beautiful images that you'll cherish for years to come.

While it's true that newborns are more sleepy and "womb-like" in the first few weeks of their life, older babies have their own unique charm. They may be more alert and aware of their surroundings, which can lead to candid and precious moments that capture their developing personality.

One option for parents who missed the ideal window for a studio photoshoot is to opt for an "at home" photoshoot. This type of session allows you to capture your baby in their natural environment, showcasing their nursery and first home.

An “at home” photoshoot also allows for more flexibility in terms of your baby's age. While it's true that newborns are ideal for studio sessions, older babies can still provide plenty of photo opportunities in an at-home setting. Whether they're playing with their favourite toys or snuggling with a parent, these moments can be just as precious as the curled-up poses of a newborn.

Ultimately, the most important thing is to capture those special moments. Regardless of your baby's age, I can still create a gallery of images that showcase your baby’s personality and your family’s love. Just get in touch and I can talk you through how it all works and you can then decide if it’s right for you!

Best wishes,
